2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 80% new French oak for 20 months, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is deep garnet-purple in color and opens with perfumed notes of red and black currant preserves, mulberries, kirsch and cigar box with nuances of black tea, roses, fragrant earth and smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, it’s very polished on the palate, with firm, fine-grained tannins, wonderful freshness and a layered finish with some mineral nuances coming through. 120 cases produced.

2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain District

Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot aged for 20 months in 70% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain is deep garnet-purple colored with a simply beautiful nose of warm cassis, crushed black plums and blackberry compote with touches of tilled loam, cardamom, Indian spices and licorice with a waft of eucalyptus. Full, rich and concentrated, it has a rock-solid foundation of firm, ripe, rounded tannins and great vivacity, finishing long. 175 cases produced.

2016 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast Single Vineyard

The 2016 Pinot Noir comes from the Reuling Vineyard on Sonoma Coast, from Calera, DRC and La Tache clones. Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, it comes charging out of the glass with a compelling perfume of warm cranberries, kirsch and black cherries with nuances of violets, lavender and rose hip tea with hints of Sichuan pepper and Provence herbs. The medium to fullbodied palate has a firm, grainy texture and great freshness, with loads of red and black fruit layers, finishing very long and earthy. 150 cases produced.

2016 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast Single Vineyard

The 2016 Pinot Sonoma Coast (11% stems and 60% new oak) is a medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, classic Sonoma Coast effort that’s loaded with notions of smoke, red and black fruits, some charred earth, and ample spice. It has rounded tannins and a terrific balance, and will keep for 7 – 8 years. This wine is all from Reuling Vineyard and comes from a mix of Calera and other suitcase clones.

2016 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast Single Vineyard

The 2016 Chardonnay comes from the Reuling Vineyard on Sonoma Coast and is entirely Montrachet clone. It gives lovely white grapefruit, white peaches and lemon curd notes with touches of croissant, marzipan, lime blossom and beeswax. Medium to full-bodied, the palate offers lovely richness, weight and texture with a zippy line of freshness carrying the honeyed stone fruit and citrus flavors to a good long finish. 110 cases produced.

2016 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast Single Vineyard

Both the Dalecio releases are made with help of consultant Philippe Melka and come from the Reuling Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. Starting with the 2016 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast, it’s a brilliant effort that has a rich, powerful feel yet stays incredibly pure, crystalline, and vibrant at the same time. Notes of white flowers, white currants, salt block and background oak all show on the nose. This is up with some of the top Chardonnays in the vintage and will keep for at least 7 – 8 years.
