2017 Reserve Cabernet SauvignonNapa Valley

Simply stated, our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon represents the finest wine from each vintage. Less than 6 barrels were produced.

2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Petit Verdot) is a barrel selection that sees a touch more élevage compared to the classic Cabernet Sauvignon release. It’s cut from the same cloth yet has more purity and elegance, with stunning notes of cassis, crushed rocks, chocolate, hot gravel, and licorice aromas and flavors. As with the classic Cabernet, it has serious muscle and depth.

Tasting Notes

An elegant wine produced from vineyards in Rutherford and Pritchard Hill, the 2017 Reserve is
beautifully deep purple in color and delivers expressive notes of black fruit, fragrant earth tones and ripe cassis. It is medium to full-bodied with a solid structure and chewy tannins, finishing long. Approachable in its youth, this Cabernet Sauvignon will age gracefully over the next 20 years.
